Advanced Safety & Energy, Inc., and its affiliate, Safety Academy (collectively, “ASE,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information related to our corporate websites, asesafety.com and safetyacademyplus.com (collectively, the “Sites”), and our general business communications.

Scope of This Policy: This policy applies to personal information we collect when you visit our Sites, request information from us about our products or services, or otherwise interact with us in a business context.

This policy does not apply to the personal data we process on behalf of our customers through the Safety Academy™ training platform and related services. That processing is governed by our customer agreements and the Data Protection Clauses incorporated therein.

By accessing or using our Sites, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.


2. Information We Collect

We collect information in two ways: information you provide to us directly and information we collect automatically.

A. Information You Provide Directly

We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us when you:

  • Contact Us: When you fill out a “Contact Us” form, request a quote, or otherwise communicate with us through our Sites, we may collect your name, business email address, phone number, company name, job title, and the content of your message.

  • Subscribe to Communications: If you subscribe to our newsletters or marketing materials, we will collect your email address and communication preferences.

  • Register for Events: If you register for a webinar, tradeshow, or other event hosted by ASE or Safety Academy, we may collect your name, contact information, and professional details.

B. Information We Collect Automatically

When you visit our Sites, we automatically collect certain information about your device and browsing activity, including:

  • Log and Usage Data: Information such as your Internet Protocol (IP) address, browser type and version, operating system, the pages you visit on our Sites, the time and date of your visit, and the time spent on those pages.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the personal information we collect for the following business purposes:

  • To Respond to Your Requests: To respond to your inquiries, provide requested quotes or information about ASE or Safety Academy services, and manage our business relationship with you.

  • For Marketing and Communications: To send you marketing communications, newsletters, and information about our services that may be of interest to you, in accordance with your preferences. You may opt out of receiving marketing emails at any time by following the unsubscribe link in the email.

  • For Security and Compliance: To protect the security and integrity of our Sites, to comply with our legal and regulatory obligations, and to enforce our legal rights.

4. How We Share Your Information

We use cookies and similar technologies to help operate our Sites, analyze performance, and personalize your experience. Cookies are small text files placed on your device by websites that you visit.

  • Types of Cookies We Use:Strictly Necessary Cookies: Essential for the Sites to function and cannot be switched off.
    Performance and Analytics Cookies: Allow us to count visits and traffic sources so we can measure and improve the performance of our Sites.

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, to pursue legitimate business purposes, to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.


9. International Data Transfers

Our Sites are hosted and operated in the United States. If you are accessing the Sites from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States. For transfers of personal data from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we rely on adequate transfer mechanisms such as the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and the Standard Contractual Clauses.


10. Children’s Privacy

Our Sites are not directed to or intended for use by children under the age of 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected such information, we will take steps to delete it.


11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new policy on our Sites and updating the “Last Updated” date at the top. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
